Stone Forest Monument Beijing, 2007, Series of 7 Photographs, Pigment Ink on Baryte Paper

These pictures show a huge monument at the outskirts of Beijing, just beside the third ringroad, representing a national park in the south of China, famous for its bizarre shapes of rocks. The monument is made of a thin concrete mantle over a metall scaffolding. In winter the inner space is sometimes inhabited by homeless persons.
